2016. Teachers are not valued nowadays... why?

Hardly anyone wants to become a teacher.

Yes, effectively the teachers are not valored valued. Because many of them are very permisive and they don´t impose hertheir authorityy.This supose implies that the students become stronger and not don't listen TO the teachers and this supouse implies uncontrolled classrooms. But the students have a part of guilt because may students don ´t have a god educacion or are not respectfull with the teacher and they pass from the teacher

I think children were previously more controlled and could not do what they wanted. But now the children believe think more important than the teachers .
Too the government reduces the presuposts budget and the teachers receive a less quantity of money for their work .

The teachers aren't valued nowadays because the law protects a the students. Sometimes the students ignore some of the teachers and they cause noise in the class. Also politicians make cuts in education. Too the teachers aren't valued because many of them aren't well paid and maybe this is a reason for demotivation.

The teachers before were much stricter, and were respected. That made the students not do what they wanted. In these times children are not afraid of a teacher, and no longer value them as before.
Apart from that, there are cuts in the salaries of teachers, that makes them not as respected as before.

I think that it's because the society has changed from decades ago and now the society has different views of everything. Also, years ago everything was stricter and people haven't got the same rights we have now. Now the students are more "free". Students nowdays don't respect the teachers, and the respect is something that parents have to taught teach to their children. I can understand how teachers may feel and the reason why there aren't a lot of people who want to become teachers.
This is not education system's problem, it's society's problem that don't educate their children how to respect.-M.M.A.R

I think that the teachers are not valued because they do not demonstrate their authority, and that is why the students do not respect them.
Sometimes the government does not value them in the sense that they are not taken into account if they are or not according to the facilities or incentives that are given to them for their professional development.

To devote oneself to education, today is very complicated. Conditions are changing a lot. The main complication is that there are many students in the classroom. There are not enough aids A single teacher in front of so many students... that can not be. The students do what they want and the teacher is out of control. Students smell the fear of teachers. And we threw ourselves on top of them. We feel much more powerful than them and that's when the adult loses his head. We take advantatge of the fact that the teacher is not at his best and... we started to lose her too???????. That is when the lack of respect enters the "game". It seems a lie but, this only happens with some teachers. Not everyone is like that. Not everyone can smell fear.
